About
Andreas Aaser is a London-based, Norwegian composer specializing in original, impactful music for Film, TV and games.

With a deep passion for storytelling through music, Andreas creates scores that are both emotionally compelling and sonically distinctive - balancing evocative textures with memorable themes to enhance the heart of the narrative and characters.
A graduate of the UK’s National Film and Television School (NFTS), Andreas refined his craft under the mentorship and collaboration with Emmy-nominated composer Natalie Holt, writing music for major productions such as Marvel’s Loki (S1-2) and Star Wars TV show Obi-Wan Kenobi. Together they co-scored the Netflix film Through My Window and Channel 4 Drama Deadwater Fell (Starring David Tennant), the latter being nominated for a RTS award for best music.
He's currently writing music for Natalie on a yet-to-be-announced AAA game, as well as the upcoming TV show Chad Powers (Hulu, starring Glen Powell).
His recent work includes western-inspired cellos and flutes for Satisfaction (nominated best score at Kino London), twisted vocals for Supervision (two best score nominations, winner best experimental film at Oregon film festival), and frantic guitars for multi award winning animation Heatwave (Annecy, BAFTA LA, Edinburgh International Film Festival ++).
Rooted in both classical and electronic traditions, Andreas' journey began playing in rock bands before transitioning into orchestral composition, earning his first performance with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra while still in high school. He later deepened his expertise studying Music Technology, Composition and Film at NTNU in Trondheim before earning an MA in Music for Film and TV at the NFTS.
Alongside his scoring work, Andreas also releases his own music. His recent EP Songs of Tomorrow was described as "a sonic landscape sculpted to transport listeners."
Whether scoring a feature film or releasing his own music, his mission remains clear: to craft music that resonates, innovates, and leaves a lasting impact.
